It's an $8 PSN game, nothing like Burnout.
Because Burnout is the best thing to happen to racers in the past decade haha. Well imo of course, but Burnout 3: Takedown was to me the best racing games of the last generation and can't wait for more Burnout games to come out. Although Revenge and Paradise disappointed me greatly, I still think Criterion can produce some great future games. I'm not a fan of simulation racers at all so Burnout is my bread and butter and I want to see more.
I think your question is "why so many arcade racers?". That game's in the same racing genre as burnout, but seems pretty different if you ask me when it comes to core gameplay.
