Wow. The love for this game is great. I was afraid it was going to simply be considered derivative btu there's a lot of love for it.

Mario games always get great reviews.

I can't remember if OoT got 97 or 98%, but if it got 98 it is the only one to have done so from NOM/ONM.

Of course the entire magazine staff have changed about 3-4 times since OoT.

so they lower .3 for lack of impact?
it would be epic but then I realize it's the .1 higher than nsmbwii

Excellent score! Oh my... can this be the game of the generation? A direct sequel? It was impossible to me before, but now I'm a believer!

Pretty much every proclaimed "game of the generation" so far has been a direct sequel, this isn't really much different

Unless you count Wii Sports, I guess

But who would want that over Resort? Nobody!

i really hope i don't get flamed for this, im getting a wii for the two galaxy games so im not hating. But if you put footage from both games side by side and show them to a casual mario player, they wont be able to tell you which one is 1 and 2, the games look the same, i mean yoshi and a drill arn't exactly ground breaking sequal innovation. that being said great score i cant wait to pick up my copy and my shiny new black wii soon!!!!!!
