As most of the hard core early adopters are fading, its gonna be all about the casuals. Family friendly games, reasonable price points, quality library of games of various genres. Sony has a few hard hitting exclusives but thats not gonna turn the tide. Especially if Nintendo and Microsoft does price cuts as expected.
Just like it was all about the casuals for the Xbox360 and PS2 during the second year? And i also guess Sony is not going to cut prices anymore, even after the new 65nm and 45nm chips are out....
BTW.... HOW did you manage to post 200 times in the last week?
Doubt it; 2007 is the toughest year for the PS3 and lately, doesn't seem THAT bad!

It appears you underestimate the profound effect a killer app will do. No system will ever win without good games. MGS4 will do wonders for the PS3.

Still lots of core players with smaller budgets to go. I'm sure 2008 will be better than '07 for Sony. It's '09 that concerns me.
