Had a fun night at the pub watching the channel 4 take on the live election results. I didn't vote in the end, I felt that I didn't know enough about each parties intentions to justify a decision. I just don't want the conservatives in... they are dicks :P

I loved what Jimmy Carr said about immigration. "I you'r pissed off because some foreigner has moved to the UK and taken your job within the first day hes been in the country... maybe your just not very good at your job" made the whole pub laugh hysterically.

Can someone help me out with what the heck is the 'Land is Power' party, and why this guy looks so freaking awesome (guy in back with shades)?

i don't know what he stands for, maybe google it

but he must of paid a few thousand quid or more to stand so he was going to enjoy it,lol

Lol, I noticed him too, I wasn't quite watching when they were reading the results but I heard the unusual party name and looked up to see that guy pumping his fist for no apparent reason other than being there. I followed up with a google.

woo!!! Lib dem won my constituency. I thiink I will go to bed now.

Although I am unsure how the rest of the areas will vote, it'd look like the conservatives are doing really, really well. They are up 213-146 right now.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

greens got a seat. BNP no where near getting barking.

Hung parliament. Either Tories + Unionists or Labour + Lib Dems will fall short as well. So a very very hung parliament.

Just got back from the Barking count (working), really good to be there to see the BNP blocked.

Come on Labour, lets get together with the Lib Dems and Greens to build some stability and keep the Tories out!
