Forums - Gaming - Why are these Sega games not on XBL Arcade/PSN yet?!?

In the light of releasing Afterburner HD I have thought about which other games could Sega release on Xbox live/PSN. This is not just my Sega fanboy talking (Shenmue WOOO!!!)...but I honestly think these games should find a good home on PSN or Xbox live.

Virtua Fighter 2 - We've never had an arcade perfect port of this game. Saturn version was good but not perfect...Online support FTW.

Chu Chu Rocket - For the love of god Sega, hire 3 people to port this over to XBL. It was developed for Windows OS already  (dreamcast) and you can even use the Dreamcasts net code since the game had online on the DC. Then sell it for 400 pts and everyone alive will buy it.

Alien Front Online - Again, the game is super fun, had online on the dreamcast, still looks pretty good and was first game ever to have voice chat.

Propeller Arena -  Awesome plane combat game that was finished and cancelled for the dreamcast because it was to come out on Sept 11 2001. The game was leaked on to the net and is really fun and has 4 player split screen.

Also...

Once Natal and Move come out Sega needs to release Cosmic Smash! Screenshot from the game is below...I think most of you will agree its a given for Natal/ Move.

Around the Network

It's because you touch yourself at night. *nods sagely*

Serious answer: it's Sega, and some of those options sound suspiciously like work would be involved.

thats the thing, they really wouldn't require a lot of work. Virtua Fighter 2 may require work but the other 3 games already have net code for online play.

Like you and me could port Chu Chu rocket over to XBL...while drunk. And the other 2 games could be nicely upscaled to 720p and released as they are by a team of 10 people in less than a month.

Chu Chu Rocket is one of the few puzzle games i would like to see come back. Make it so.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
