I think they should stick to making video games.
Yeah I think they should, if they can bring the level of the SHOW to it, then it will be HUGE!

Sony London used to work on a football franchise for ps2/psp, called World Tour Soccer. It wasn't that great and sold horribly, so they discontinued it around 2006. They've also discontinued all their NBA titles for all platforms save PSP last year. There was no NBA 10 on ps3.
They even had an American football franchise years back, NFL GameDay. They stopped producing it in 2004 when EA got the NFL license. Of course, it wasn't that popular anyway.
Kinda sucks that Sony manages to produce the best sports sim for one of the smaller sports in the video game world. If they had managed similar success with either of the footballs, it'd be a very valuable asset for them.

Eh, if the game is good enough, the sales will come. It's just about building awareness. Five years ago Winning Eleven was outselling Fifa worldwide by a decent bit, yet now Fifa outsells Pro Evo 2:1, just because of the swing in quality between the two franchises.
Though I doubt Sony's ability to develop a quality football franchise with their current stable of developers. There's a reason they stopped making such games in the first place.
I thought you were talking about the NFL ....
Anyway, I hope they improve on their NBA games.
Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.
