Forums - Sony - Why have ff13 sales gone up in others for 2 weeks in a row?

Lol yeah, at GAME here in the UK, when it was released, it was £40 for the standard edition, £60 for the collectors edition, now it's £25 for the standard, and £40 for the collectors, and that's just after 2 months of it being released...

tht is games easter sale (it hd sticker on it), so it will be over nw. But thn why ddnt xbox 360 version see a noticble rise?

nther reason is ppl hve realized the xbox 360 version is much much worse than ps3 version in terms of grfx & gameplay so ps360 owners arnt buying it for xbox 360.

There are various reasons, I believe it ranges from game & gamestation having an easter sale which reduced the price of FF13 to £25 (other games are undergoing this sales to, god of war 3 is at £30). Then you have word of mouth, advertising and a general drought of games right now. Combined these reasons are leading to what you see.

However I'm not sure about your GFK Full price chart comment, do they not count games sold under a "sale"? If they don't then it has more to do with word of mouth/advertising/incentives.

I was in GAME earlier today and they're the prices I saw, no sale sticker or anything, just the usual price apparently...

The 360 version's doing pretty good.

It got a price drop recently, Propably that is why it got a boost in sales.

All those PS3 selling on march for GOW 3 now have finish with Kratos, could be a reason!

Price cuts would be my guess.
