Game looks awesome despite the reviews. Had this been the only game to come out for a month or so i would definatley get it day 1, unfortunatley Red Dead Redemption is also out later this month.

What meta score a game has affects the games sales, especially a new game like this.
so if the game gets even lower scores its ok with me. Low Score -> Lower Sales -> Price drops faster. its all win!

Whilst I don't think It'll hit my predicted 90, I do hope it rises a tad, it's no surprise it's not winning any "graphics lifetime" awards or w/e though.

This is what I really hoped this game would not do. Lean heavily on combat. Oh, well, probably still going to be a good game, but I lost some interest in it now.

Thought this was a lock for 90+ Meta. Seems everything this year except GoW III and Mass Effect 2 has been slightly disappointing.

Seems like everyone is saying that the Pros are: story, good settings and great mood.

And Cons are: That they've missed their mark on what they tried to achieve, charactermodels are weak, bad daylight graphics with pop ups and repetitive combat.

And if i could sit through inFamous with with its graphics and repetitiveness, but with an awesome story, i think i'll definitely pick this one up aswell. I love me some games with a great story.

They score for story? What score do they give a game that [intentionally] doesn't have a story?

Anyway, the one thing they did say is that it's the best action/horror game of the gen so far. So for fans of horror it's a good reason to buy a 360 if you don't already have one. What else do you need to know?
