Err, Rogue Squadron III and Twilight Princess?

Disagreed with all of the ps2 games, as all of them look fine on a SD tv but looks like crap on an HD tv, while most Nintendo Gamecube games hold up fairly well on the HD screen!!
Shenmue
Zone of the Enders 2
Baten Kaitos series
Odin Sphere
GunGrave
Zelda Wind Waker
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Metroid Prime series
Project Gotham Racing
JSR series
F-Zero GX
Star Fox Adventures
Killer7
Jade Empire
Otagi
I could go on more but all I could think of for now
Okami
Edit
+Dark Cloud 2
+Final Fantasy X (the world had a beautiful and still used some pre-rendered backgrounds, yum, IMO (OBV it's my favorite game)
+MGS2 (I love the unreaslistic blood so much for some unknown reason :D)

As much as Metroid Prime looked amazing when it came out, it doesn't really hold up today. Part of the reason you are seeing a lot of common games being named (Dragon Quest VIII, Zelda, Okami, etc) is not because they pushed the maximum polygons or had the best lighting effects for their time. But because they had the best combination of 'art design' and 'graphics design'. That's why a game like Dragon Quest VIII or Wind Waker can still hold up next to all the major HD titles today, which clearly have 10x the textures or graphical effects onscreen.
The reason I say Metroid Prime doesn't hold up as well is because it tried to emphasize the same style as many HD games do today. Heavy use of set textures, ambient lighting and etc. For its time, it was a massive undertaking and showed the game was one of the biggest of the generation. But if you go back and play it now compared to something on the 360/PS3...its not going to hold up. Whereas if you play some of the other titles mentioned, its not going to be that big of a difference.
