XII is the best in the series

I enjoyed it too though. I just liked every final fantasy after FFIV better than FFXII.

i really like ff12 but, I'm yet to like another ff game as much as ff7. i'm hyped for ffv13 and my gf and i cant wait to play ff14.

FFXII was the best in the series. You guys just can't keep up with the awesomeness and pretend it does not exist.

I agree, losing Vaan and Penelo would have been the first step to making that game suck less.

Next step-- give me at least better access to gambits at the start of the game.

After that-- fix the license grid so it doesn't suck so hard.

I thought Balthier was intended to be the main character?

I still remember reading the review in OPM many years ago; "Vaan is by far the gayest character in Final Fantasy's long and proud history of gay protagonists."
That vest is just too much and he has no depth. The best character in FFXII imo is Balthier, Basch is a tad too cliche in some ways and I don't like the way he talks (he sounds like Fabio serenading some hussy late at night in a garden every time he opens his mouth, so dramatic).
