here is a LINK to video cards the Can You Run It site advised me to buy in order to play Mass Effect 2. So which one should i buy? thanks.

the can you run it site is not always true, some games i own and run perfectly but it shows as "You can't run it" when i test it.
- Wasteland - The Mission.
that specs don't show... which card is it. Here's Mine and it runs 60fps+ max
Athlon X2 3.3 GHZ
4GB Ram
2 8800GT - SLI
XP
I don't know how SLI translates to those newer cards... but yeah wasn't much help I guess.

Those cards are BS.
You should buy a Radeon 4850 or 5750 if you want a card under $100, or the 5770 if you can afford $150.
Whats your buget?
>$100 either a HD 5750 or HD 5770
= $100 HD 5670
<$100 HD 5570
All from ATI
Whats your system?
Run this: http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz/cpuz_154_setup.exe
Tell us:
if you have PCI-Express (mainboard tab)
what CPU you are running (main tab)
how much ram you have (memory tab)
what GPU you have now (graphics tab)
Tease.
In case you've noticed, that site is paid by Nvidia or their partners to only show Nvidia cards on that page (and not AMD, who most review sites agree are 'winning' on value and performance this generation). And the first four of them are NOT good enough to run that game well. Don't believe that.
I would follow Squillam's advice; 5670 or 5750/5770 depending on your budget. Nvidia has no real competition at those price points, but if they did I would suggest an alternative here.
General rule of thumb for video cards: Only buy them if the second digit is 6 or higher. Really, it works.
Always check both AMD and Nvidia cards at the price point you want, and see which is faster.

Clearly, your statistics were flawed.
