The combined weight of FF VII: CC and the redesign has resulted in the PSP Slim reaching the 1 million sold 2 weeks before the PSP originally did after launch, according to Gamesindustry.biz.

PSP sales have really spiked which is great for Sony. The only thing that I wonder is it new customers or existing owners just upgrading? I think it will be a mixture of both. The slim is no doubt alot more attractive to the consumer market then that shocking Phat PSP was.
