83% increase from what? last week?
the 245% increase was in reference to last years black friday week, which was 87k....so the 174k is almost exactly a 100% increase (or doubling).

I thought Canada had a lot more than 40 million....i mean i know it is relatively sparsely populated but then it is the second largest country by area after Russia.

Are you guys really losing that much sleep over this? It's a freakin' number.
