Deal with leaving Microsoft meant Bungie have to offer ALL games they make to Microsoft.

LOL hell no. You think Sony has enough money to pay for the 10 million + Bungie fans on the 360? Fact is that even though Bungie's games may go multi-plat their real home will always be on the 360 thats where their massive fan base is.

This was heavily rumored but honestly I don't believe it one bit anymore, why would MS let Bungie make a game for multiple systems then? They realize Bungie's selling power and would want the game for themselves. Honestly I think Bungie has full say over whatever they want now days, whatever the deal with MS was they must have fulfilled their contract.
| MrBubbles said: just an fyi... bungie has full control over the IP and which platforms they develop for. activision cant decide which platforms the game is for, or force bungie to make sequels, or have another company make spinoffs. essentially their job is support (since bungie only has experience with a single system) and to market the game(s) that bungie makes. |
We don't necessarily know that. We do know know much about the contract signed between them at all.

Yes we do Brian Jarrod from Bungie flat out said they are in full control and will make the game for whatever console they feel like. He even stated that there is a chance the game will end up on the Wii.

You mean this? ^
Lets see what we have
"guaranteed us that they can bring our game and universe to market in a big way, on a global scale, across multiple platforms, but they also were able to strike a deal that gave us exactly what we wanted, which most importantly for us is that we remain independent, that we own our new IP and we have creative control of how we realize this next game and this vision for our next universe."
Now, that could mean a whole bunch of things, however the most likely is that Bungie controls completely what sorts of games they make - if they want to make an RTS they can, if they think the game needs to be a trilogy it will be a trilogy. However, Activision will likely have control over other things, such as which consoles are deemed economically advantageous to develop for. I didn't read anything to make me think that Bungie will have control over things like that
@ Scottie
No actually I mean this. Please read. It flat out says they are in control of everything including how they decide to price their game. Not Activision. Bungie themselves are in complete control.

Hadn't read that interview, and I guess I stand corrected
