It really is amazing to see just how far the Catholic Church has slipped as an authoritative voice in Western Culture over the last 30 years. I wonder how Catholicism is doing worldwide right now. Is the growth in Africa and Asia compensating for the decline in Europe and North America. I'm not even sure how Catholicism is doing in Latin America right now. Decline I hope.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Wow that was surprisingly not annoying and stupid. The first 5 seconds I was bored and about to stop it. It got good at the end though, especially when they made fun of his hat.

Oh man, Tim Minchin remains awesome

I still can't understand how they're getting away with this. If one man molests 5 boys, 10 boys, 20 boys, he goes to jail. If he molests 200 boys, he goes to a different church?

That song is full of win...

If you have the time, this is an awesome piece on if the Catholic church is an overall good in the world.

Steven Fry pretty much runs away with the debate. He kicks ass.

Love it.

It's sad that we can find that funny, i think. Not because i didn't find it funny too, but the fact that the church hasn't resolved this problem even now such that we can still find it funny.

I would say that the Catholic Church is perhaps the most forward-thinking of the major Christian denominations in terms of trying to change things for the better in the world (faith justice initiatives for positive causes), and thus it's sad that they've brought this level of ridicule on them

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

"England expects that everyman will do his duty"

"we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender"

Thanks for that link, I had been meaning to watch that debate for some time (love Steven Fry, but who doesn't?). I'll be sure to check that out this weekend.
