April 29, 2010 - Today Southend Interactive, developer of several Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) games such as the new Lode Runner and Tecmo Bowl Throwback, announced a new puzzle game called Ilomilo. Exclusive to XBLA, Ilomilo will present players with three-dimensional conundrums as they control two characters: Ilo and Milo. The pals are constantly being separated and your goal in each level will be to reunite them. Ilomilo will include a cooperative mode that allows two players to each control one of the characters.

Ilo and Milo's world is made of cubes and the pair can walk on any face of the blocks and move them around.

Southend says famous characters from other games are hidden throughout Ilomilo for players to find (a feature that reminds us of Super Meat Boy). Another unlockable extra is a retro-style 2D mini-game called Ilomilo Shuffle.

From what we've seen so far in the trailer, Ilomilo is looking very pretty. Hopefully we'll have more info on the game, soon.

graphically it's very LBP to me (which is good)
gameplay wise... I guess the 360 gravity will make it a bit similar to galaxy for some of the puzzles (which is also good)

so far it's pretty promissing indeed.

Very cute. Can't say much else right now.
