Forums - Sony - New Warhawk expansion coming December :D Operation: Omega Dawn

it is not that it is expensive.
it is more the fact that what they add is pretty small but the amount of money is so small.

let's say : 30$ the base game
news maps+1 ship = +20% game content (I know it is less but ...)
20% of 30$ = 6$

6$ < 10$

So I believe that 10$ is very expensive for what u get.

Well to be fair it also increases a lot of peoples interest and expands the amount of time a lot of people spend with the game and will bring old players who have stopped playing back into the fold, giving that orignal $30 game more value as well.  Even if you don't purchase it players who have stopped playing might decide to play a match or two on their old favorites.

Around the Network

It sould be free, the map packs failed in resistance. Hardly anyone played in them.

They should give the patch through the game so that every game has it.

Map packs probably wouldn't sell, but this on has new vehicles in a much more vehicle-centric game.

My guess is that Sony is seeing if they can get away with charging money for stuff like this, much like Nintendo tried getting away with releasing a Bran Training game on the Wii at almost full price.

The price will probably be low enough to encourage impulse purchases, and downloadable content is very profitable, so I imagine they'll do pretty well with this.

With the problems they had in the beginning with the game which stopped alot of people from playing. They need to make the pack cheaper than $9.99.

I'll take the case!!!
