I didn't like the Wii. I think move will be better because of this..

fixed

I dont dislike the Wii but I am not intrested in buying it either, When playing stuff like Brawl, Kart or NSMBWii with friends I have great fun but for single player experiences it just doesn't really do it for me (with the exception of Mario Galaxy)

Currently playing: MAG, Heavy Rain, Infamous

Getting Plat trophies for: Heavy Rain, Infamous, RE5,  Burnout and GOW collection once I get it.

theres literally nothing better about the wiimote apart from having an on board speaker.

I can't believe you are serious. How about traditional nes control style? How about the ir camera that tracks 2 light sources, instead of just one on the PS mote? How about the size and portability of the wiimote, allowing it to be inserted into plastic guns and other peripherals, thereby offering multiple uses? How about energy saving through the nunchuk design? No need for more recharging. How about not having to wait for said controllers to recharge?

The real failure is that these competitors have literally done NOTHING new in their devices, despite having over 3 years to do something new. Use a camera? already done. Use voice control? Wii Speak. Use Avatars? hmm.

Sadly, i think you are genuinely convinced that Nintendo didn't out think all of you, and over 5 years ago too.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Versatility. Can I turn Move sideways and play NSWBWii (or equivalent)

you can totally play with the ball with your left hand, you know, when you cheat on your right hand.

I didn't like the sound from the thing itself at all.. its very low quality and the battery dies out so fast while recharging takes hours and is a pain.. I think move will be better because of this..

sounds like you need new battery packs!

recharging? o_O

you can recharge it?

easily. I used rechargeable AA batteries, because I already owned a lot and I find it easiest - I keep 6 fully charged batteries spare, then when I want new batteries its an easy matter of swapping my current ones into the charger, and the spares into the Wiimote.

Alternatively, you can buy 3rd party rechargeable packs, which replace the AA batteries and back cover, and they charge through the nunchuk slot.

On topic - yeah, the speaker is awesome, Red Steel 1 multiplayer was incredible - you each got a secret mission through the speaker

I believe the Wii Remote's IR pointer to be more precise for shooters than the PS Move. You can tilt the Wii Remote and it will perceive the change by checking the angle of the two IR sources in the Wii remote's camera. If you tilt the PS Move, the shinning ball will barely move in the camera eye. Thus, the PS Move will need larger movements to register you aim.

The Wii Remote also has built in memory for transferring data. Pretty handy when taking your Monster Hunter 3 character to your friends house.
