no one HD game will ever sell over 20M on one console. It took two HD consoles for M.W.2

The thing that strikes me is even with the PS2 selling 140,000,000 consoles it's highest selling game only sold 18.29 million ( Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas), and only 5 games in total sold over 10 million!

Although this would seem to fit with my arguement (which no one else seems to support) that a large % of PS2 sales are re-purchases because of breakdown.

of course nintendo made games are going to sell that much. How many of those 20 million selling games aren't made from nintendo.

Tell me the highest selling 3rd party game on the Wii and that number even remotely compare to the 360 or PS3

I'm locking this to save other forum members. Insulting the OP was not needed.

I knew so many people (me included) that were in this situation. After 2 years their PS2 broke and they had to end up buying a new one because their warranty had run out. All our PS2 broke exactly 2 years after purchase, it's as if Sony programmed them to do this so that they wouldn't be under warranty under more forcing us to buy new consoles in order to play our games again.
