I want Activision to change their dumb mentality. This might be a hope.

I've always said that any institution which deliberately cultivates an adversarial relationship between management and labour is in for serious trouble. How can you expect to fight your competitors when your people are busy fighting each other?

The developers at Infinity Ward and the publishers at Activision should be natural allies, and here they are trying to use coercion, desertion and legal action against each other.

This is how far a culture of skepticism, pessimism and fear will get you. Lots of estrangement and backstabbing.

well put.  ...and go IW go!!

Funny. People asked, why did Microsoft sale back Bungie to the employees?! Who cares if a few people leave. Microsoft should have taken charge and gotten rid of the people who didn't want to fly straight.

Now everyone can see that Microsoft made the right decision in the end. Cause this IW vs Activision is the biggest cluster fuck I have ever witness in video games (except for the Atari market crash)

I'm just saying...

i support activision. iw was extremely lazy with mw2, so i have no sympathy for them.

a small problem just got bigger as it blows up in Activisions face!

I suppose the question now is was it laziness? Or just terrible mismanagement and tension between Activision and IW?

OT: From what I can tell these guys have a much stronger case than West and Zampella as they actually chose to leave as opposed to being fired, thus should be entitled to royalties regardless of whether they're at the company or not. Guess this is what happens when the higher ups get greedy and have no clue about the people that work for them or the products they're producing.

not seperate, but Blizzard no doubt acts independent to Kotick. Blizzard is protected by big daddy Vivendi.
