Never going to happen. Hori's so deep in Nintendo's pockets I doubt he even lets SE release the PS1 DQ games on PSN... |
tetsuya is also deep in Sony 's pockets but many say versus 13 will come to 360 so never say never

There will be no Kingdom Hearts 3 this gen. They did not start making it yet because they are sinking all their resources into that Versus XIII (won't release until 2011 somewhere, barring no delays).
Next-gen it is a toss-up as to who gets it, unless no one announces a new console until 2014.
If that imossibility arises, expect KH3 for the Wii in 2013 (lol I never gave up the dream)
Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. " thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."
nomura said that he is working on another 3 new kh games and confirmed that one of them is KH3 and one of them will release this year in japan

If it happens, it'll be due to market forces (ie: western sales) and likely against Nomura's wishes.
Hori's in an entirely different situation. He's already supporting the established market leader (Nintendo) and unlike Nomura, his company (Armor Project) actually holds a stake in the Dragon Quest copyright. He has ultimate say over DQ, while with something like Versus, Wada (not Nomura) has the ultimate decision making abilities.
PS3 will never see a DQ game though. It's best chance is maybe getting DQVII/IV on PSN, and even that looks unlikely at best.

Actually Square-Enix is the one to say where the next DQ will go ,they support nintendo because of the latest DQ+DS hits (ix,iv,v,vi and many others) it is the most profitable way to make money for them low production cost for a DS game and huge sales like DQ9 in Wii 's case they announced DQX for it long AGO (MARCH 2009) not a single screenshot of it with ps3 gaining ground in japan just don 't be surprised if DQX releases on(also) PS3 in japan

One: Game makers do not owe people new entries in specific franchises. Please stop whining as though they did.
Two: Good games take time. This cannot be rushed (well, it could, but you would not want the results).
Three: Tetsuya Nomura, the series' creator, has long been infamous for having one of the worst project backlogs in the industry. At the moment, he's involved to varying degrees in no fewer than five projects: FFVersusXIII, FFAgitoXIII, KHCoded, and at least two other KH-related games (not much is known about these, though it has been said that neither is KH3).
Honestly, my money's on KH3 not coming out this gen at all. A backlog like that will simply take too long to deal with.
Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

The funny part is that sadly, you aren't really even exagerrating.
Weren't they talking about something silly like 10 years of FF13 spinoffs back in like 07-08?
