You still haven't given a  decent justification for that, so why do you demand one from Twesterm?

FF12: 10/10

FF13: Can't rate since i haven't played it yet and probably never will but from what i heard this game has a lot of flaws in it......a lot.

FF XII, the game was very good and money well spent. Gameplay is great but long winded. Obvious issue is that it's not Final Fantasy. Sorry it just isn't, if they had called it Final Fantasy Tactics something and kept it in that universe then fine. It had just such a different feel to it. That asside individually a great game 8.8/10

FF XIII - not completed still playing but honestly, the worst FF game on a Playstation. Still good but worst FF is not a great thing. I'd say it's average at best, 5-6/10

FF12: 9/10 I liked the freedom this game gave you and I liked the instant battles. I think it would have been good if it rewarded you better for exploration.
The story was ok but it was a bit too spread out with a massive section in the middle of the game with no story.

Your reasoning is flawed.

As I already stated in my main post, both Balthier and Basch were probably the best characters in the game.  However, their connections to the plot were undermined greatly to other characters (see Vaan and Ashe) and they were essentially just tag-alongs.  Basch becomes essentially useless with virtually no speaking parts after Ashe joins your party and Balthier has no direct point in the plot until near the very end to the game.  And his 'partner in crime' (Fran) only seems to be in the game as a plot trigger for when you arrive in Eruyt Village, despite multiple random cutscenes where she appears to tie into the 'mist' (which doesn't lead to anything).

In all, the game seems to have been plagued by a lot of misdirection during development.  Were they trying to make either Basch or Balthier the main character and just switched to Vaan at the last second?  Or did entire bits of story get cut somewhere during development and that's why characters seem to go strangely silent for entire sections of the game.  Or maybe its just a simple case of them trying to do too much with one game.

In any case, I think we can all agree that Vaan was unnecessary and took away a lot of focus on the other characters.  And that FFXII is the most 'Star Wars' of all the FF titles.

FFXII is a 4/10 uttelry boring you could pretty much play the entire game w/out actually pressing any buttons and just leveling up and automating your character. Story was boring and i did not feel as if i was involved into it. Graphics were real nics though.

FFXIII is a 9.3/10 i bought this afraid i was going to get something too boring, it is a pain at the beginning but it really ends up being awesome afterward
