ahh silent hill.The best horror games.This gen though i ll vote for dead space.then Siren Blood Curse and then Condemned 2.Great games all 3

Dead Space took scary to a new level for me. There were no "safe" moments in that game. You had to be ready for your heart to be jump started at any moment!

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Not exactly scary, but hella creepy, especially the beginning.

Dead Space is a great game but no that horrorific. I would say Silent Hill Origins on the PSP

How do you guys (who said this) find it scary? the game is too open and didn't have any scary moments, but its one of the most funnest Horror games i played, the stealth + teamwork are pretty fun.

There are certain times where everything feels like it is turned against you.


Playing as Bella, in particular, is horrifying. She has no defense whatsoever and always plays in an extremely dark, claustrophobic atmospere.

that part was like Splinter Cell not really scary , the shibitos walk like humans so thats why.

No actually I have not. I would like to play the Silent Hill Wii game at some point though Shattered Memories I think it is called.

Highly recommend you try the series (first 3, preferrably) if you're into "horror by atmosphere" kinda games.

Well, playing through them killed off the chills I'd get from playing other horror games. Those games turn you into a man.
