Here's how it works for shooters imo.

God Tier:  Halo: Reach

Good Tier:  Halo 3, CODMW2, COD4, Battlefield: Bad Company, Battlefield 1943, Bioshock, Bioshock 2.

Decent Tier:  GOW, GOW2, Halo 3: ODST, Borderlands, L4D, L4D2.

Average Tier: COD: WAW, COD2, COD3, Army of Two.

Crap Tier: Rainbow Six Vegas, Frontlines: Fuel of War, UT3, Prey, Turok, Far Cry 2, Timeshift, Quake 4.

Seriously bro? They have made Halo even better. The amount of strategy is insane. Also I thank god they didnt use the cedits for gaining those abilities. You know like leveling up. IT destroys online Multi with that sort of thing. It makes it lop sided and unfair. It's much better for gamers for everything to be equal. Cause when your the best you know you are the best for your skill.

Halo has and always will be the place to be considered a skilled FPS player on consoles.

What are you talking about. Halo Cheapness?

Many people who love Halo would entirely disagree. IMO every other shooter is cheapness compared to Halo.

Their is just a rather large cheesy feel to it. Not that it is bad. It is just a vibe I get from all the Halo games.

My bad.  Half-Life 2 would be in Good Tier, TF2 would be in Average Tier, and CS: S would be in Crap Tier.

I think armor abilities change things, but it doesn't complicate them.  They are basically the equipments from Halo 3, but now you can use them more than once.  Pretty easy transition.

As far as gametypes, nothing they have shown is particularly new to the FPS genre. 

May 3rd is going to be great.

Looks like loads of fun.
But I have one complain. Jet packs. I think Halo addicts will become way too good with them and it seems to me like there's a pretty big learning curve around it so for noobs like me it's a sad news ahah

Actually I could see skilled Halo players leaning more towards sprint/evade.  I know those are the one's I am leaning towards.
