i just started heavy rain tonight, i am trying to get the "happy birthday trophy". i have done the 3 things the guide says i am suppose too do, but the unlocking of the trophy wont happen. i thought maybe i had a bad installation of game data, so i erased it and reinstalled the data and still wont work, i have tried everything i have seen on various forums for the game and nothing works. is my copy of the game, bad ?

I believe Happy Birthday is the one that unlocks a little later into the game. It is like 2 or 3 chapters in. I don't know why it is that way but I remember saying WTF a few times while trying ti get that one.

@wagram, ok. but i couldnt get the chapter 2 trophy either after i completed the mall .

But make sure you do everything correctly on the birthday, and do not mess up.

@wagram i did everything right. not sure what i will do with the game, if i cant get these trophies too work for me.

I guess you should try deleting your install files and your save data. Then restart.

When you play helicopter with Sean do so until the game stops you, do not stop when you have an option to put him down.

Also do not install the patch. Play without it.

^ Patch has nothing to do with it, install it.

Did they ever fix the patch? Last I knew it was glitchy as hell and was game breaking.
