So who thinks Team Ninja was the best choice for Metroid Other M?

I thought that ever since it was announced.

Ninja Gaiden was one of the best action titles ever made.  And was a major step forward for action games.  A very 'innovative' title if you will.  If they can take a similar step with Metroid, they have basically done their job in moving Metroid into the future, as Sakamoto has been wanting to do ever since the N64.

Not to say Metroid Prime wasn't a step forward for Metroid, but while Metroid Prime was a good game, it wasn't a full-fledged 3D Metroid in the sense of what Sakamoto wanted.  And frankly, what I pictured a 3D Metroid should be.  Many skills had to be removed and exploration was very slow, all to keep the illusion that you were in the suit.  It looks like they are fixing that with this game.

THIS!!!, I couldn't have said it any better

I am about to commit a bit of Nintendo Fan blasphemy: I never really liked Metroid as a kid. It is still my least favorite of the Nintendo franchises.
Still, I could not be more excited about this game. It looks really amazing and the wait will suck, but it is for the best.

You should go back and play Metroid II-Zero Mission (Metroid II/Super/Fusion/Zero Mission) and then see if you have the same view of it being Nintendo's 'worst' franchise.  I doubt that will be the case.

And best of all, it will set you up for the epicness of this game.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

It looks to be the Best nintendo Wii Game yet IMO
Still have not Seen Zelda Wii

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

I never said "worst" I said "least favorite" difference  being that I never said it was a bad or inferior series, just that I honestly just never clicked with it exactly.
