FFIX was a wonderful game and a great throwback to the games that actually made the series memorable.

FFIX - 9/10

FFX was passable, but nothing really special. The characters weren't horrible for the most part but the dialogue sure was. The story was well was passable though nothing really memorable. All in all, it was an average game. The only thing I really liked about it was the sphere grid.

FFX - 7/10

FFIX: 7/10

This is going to sound bad but Zidane had a tail! It had a few good moments, but in the end the return to the fantasy setting felt like a step back for the series. Also, it just wasn't that memorable. Haven't played it recently mind so I might enjoy it more now.

FFX: 8.5/10

Reminds me a bit of VIII, I enjoyed it and had some good fun playing it and exploring some pretty cool and interesting areas. Also, I actually quite enjoyed Blitz ball. However, the voice acting was terrible (although being a first attempt I forgave it) and the sphere grid was really quite annoying.

FF 9 is not as good as 7 and 8 but still very good so 8.5/10

FFX had a rather repetative battle system, you know? and the ATB chance was different, you know? to say the least, you know? but it didn't live up to other FF games, you know? Summons were nice to control but few, you know?

7.2/10, you know?

That game said 'you know' so many times.

Hmm, pie.

FFX- 9.5/10

Great story, likeable(if slightly annoying) characters, VA that is better than you people give the game credit for, great battle system, excellent soundtrack

VA that is better than you people give the game credit for

No, it really isn't.

I think it is.

No, it really isn't.

Yes it is.  Most of the VA issues come from Tidus and Yuna.  Seriously, even James Arnold Taylor said that he could improve quite a bit on Tidus and Yuna we can just blame on the English VA unfriendly lip-syncing.  Most of the others are pretty well done.  Auron and Rikku being the stand outs.

It doesn't matter if the supporting cast was generally well done. The main character was atrocious, and he's the one whose dialog we have to suffer through the most.

I thought James Arnold did a splendid job. The lip sync could have been better though. But it was damn good for its time.
