I have a few programs I would like to bring around on a USB drive or something portable. Is there any way to get these programs to run off the USB dirve, even though they have no portable version?

you can install progams onto the usb, and as far as i know they will work on any system with the same OS. Maybe even different OS's if they are similar enough (vista/win 7)
