my fingers don't slip off, but i'm japanese so my hands are tiny

maybe thats the reason why the triggers are so small :D

Edit: Maybe it's like the first cupholder, how the stupid guy only used an 8 oz cup so nothing ever fit

maybe sony just used a tiny japanese girl :D who knows!

stop eating greasy food when your playing a game that requires you to use l2 and r2 religiously and you really wont have anything to complain about , they are fine and especially great for racing games

Bravo, you always have to respect the people that since you don't agree with them the only obvious choise is to insult them.  Screw coming up with counter arguments or simply respecting that some things don't work for other people, trying insult them is more fun!

You are a god among kings good sir.

I don't really care for them, but Real Triggers makes them SOOOO much better.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Yes, the SIXAXIS and DS3 triggers are *terrible* and the fact so many people buy those little plastic addons are really a testament to how bad they are. Now that I put on those things my fingers don't constantly slip off the triggers and I like my controller again.

Real Triggers are a must for me.  Because of them I now consider the price of a new ps3 controller to be effectively $59.99 lol.

Which is a ripoff when you think about it.  Thankfully I only buy two (sometimes four) controllers a generation.

I honestly don't like any console's L2/R2-type buttons/triggers.

No is the answer to your question, if for no other reason than the fact that they're now analog. It's great for driving around in GTA or free aiming. Also, I might be in the minority here, but I like the spongy feel of them and have never had a problem with my fingers slipping off.

I will admit though, setting down the controller and having them press in can be annoying. I'm not as affected as much as people using their controller to play movies, cause I use the blue tooth remote, but I have noticed this annoyance.

All in all though, I like them.

I think are incredibly responsive and my fingers never slip off. Throwing a grenade in Uncharted 2 takes the slight flick of the finger - I absolutely love it.

DS3 is my favorite controller ever - no add-ons need.

It's not really an insult. He didn't sound hostile when saying it and I said the same thing. The only way I think it would be an insult is if you do eat greasy foods when you play games. (And eating greasy foods, does not mean you are fat) Therefore, if you are eating greasy foods your fingers are slipping off. The only other way for it to be bad is if he said, "Stop filling your fat faces with the greasy food and get off you ass." That would have been an insult. It's a fact if you eat greasy foods your fingers will slip off of anything.

I like the PS2 buttons simply for when I set the controller down. But I love my PS3 controller as well. It is just so nice!

I like the PS3 triggers in racing games. The old ones just feel weird to me now.
