What is "shovelware?" I assume it means "crappy games," or "games that will not be big hits." Anyways, the Playstation 3's line up of games next year does not impress me. Only a handful of good games. Also, that stupid Smiley advertisement keeps saying "hello" in this really annoying voice, and it's starting to bug the crap out of me.

 Shovelware are things like Movie games.  Things people will buy based on the success of another medium, even though the game has little to no replay or content.  Yeah, crappy games.

 

And what amazes me is that everyone complains about 10 versions of the same thing, but then they turn their back and complain about new (fresh) titles before trying them becuase they've never heard of them before.  How does that make sense? 



It seems the mods need help with this forum.  I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.

Very much akin to a review site giving one game a high score because it's a sequel and another game a low score... because it's a sequel.

There are lots of double standards in gaming it seems.

Hopefully next year's exclusives for the PS3 fair better in sales than this year's as the user base grows. When I think back on all the hype put behind Lair, Eye of Judgement, Heavenly Sword and Uncharted Drake's Odyssy... One can't help but worry.

God of War 3 will not be done by next year, so it should be taken off, and J&D hasn't even been unofficially announced, let alone officially, so it shouldn't be on there either.

Add Eternal Sonata to the multiplat ps3/360 list.

Add White Knight Story and WarDevil to the ps3 exclusives list. Put a "(maybe)" next to WarDevil. WKS is a biggie that should be out by January in Japan, and I'm surprised you left it off the list.

Make these changes and I'll be happy. :)

In the US or just Japan, and for this list does it even matter?

Ha real funny. BTW Uncharted did pretty well knowing the game officially hits shelves on the 19th. The combined sales are 127,138 which should really be it's first week sales.

 Haze has been pushed out. I know because my pre-order with Amazon got pushed out to 2008... I wish it wasn't true either but hey the good news is UT3 is coming this year :)

Yeah, those are some killer numbers there, rivaling Halo 3 in fact. Ps3 domination has begun.
