Your just mad that your 360 elite that you just bought didn't come with a HDMI cable like you thought it would. And this thread is to comfort you 
Representatives from Microsoft have stated that the reason they removed HDMI cables from the bundles is because virtually no one was using them.
Saving money and lowering prices are also good reasons for removing something...Kinda like the lack of backwards compatibility in newer PS3 models.

I concur with this. If you don't see it then you really need to learn how to be a good consumer.
you guys make good points, but there are still alot of people using standard TVs, so HDMI would be useless for them
How can virtually no people be using them, I though HDTV adoption rate was through the roof these past FIVE years?
I don't know many people that have an SDTV these days, even my grandmother has a decent tv ...
I cant believe people actually support Microsoft getting rid of something that was there before. And don't say anything of that environment B.S. If people cared about the environment that much they wouldn't even have bought an xbox 360 or PS3
So, can I buy just any regular HDMI cables for my 360 or do I have to buy a Microsoft made one?

you can buy anyone for now at least. i wouldnt be surpried if microsoft starts charging an hdmi cable for $100.
