Lol even though my school is pretty liberaly democrat dominated, i feel a few of their policies ( as well as a few more from the UKIP,BNP (ALL) and Tories) are either superficial, unfair or just not going to work. There are a few labour ones i dont like either mind, but less than the others lol

Well in fact, while LB seem the best party of us uni students (because they plan to scrap tuition fees), I feel this is a stupid policy designed just to capture votes...

We might be feeling good because we have £3290x3 less to pay back, but theyll have to increase tax somewhere else, plus the quality of our unis wil probably decrease!

Thats unfair to say... I'd never vote BNP but that doesnt make people who vote BNP idiots, if you need to resort to insults you have lost the argument.

But... If we are going this route I think anyone who votes Labour is an idiot.

No its not fair, i think its quite a  valid comment on my part. People who vote for the BNP either have not read enough of their racist/homophobic/xenophobic manifesto, or are just racists in general.

Just because I'm not voting Tory and have an opinion doesnt make me an idiot

I always have been a Tory Sympathiser but i hate what David Cameron has done to the party, he moved it too much to the left. And he still is unable to articulate what the Conservatives stand for at the moment. All he does is rabble about "change" and hung parlament. He needs to grow some balls and start talking policies.

If this continues im going to switch to Lib Dems.

Oh and Labour well im still suprised so many people are considering voting for a party that has put UK into a mess, and now tries to centralise and buy its way out of recession using public spending. Which is not working since Unemployment is constantly going up.

that would be odd... the lib dems are in reality more left of both the tories and even labour now.

True i do know that on some issues they tend to be very left wing.

Yet for me economy matters the most, and they are pretty liberal (and Liberal i mean Old School Right Wing Liberal). They want to slash Public Spending. Lower Taxation for middle income earners. First 10 grand tax free for younger people. They also want to break up the banks so they can start supporting businesses again. As long as they are against big government i can support them.

Everything else for me is secondary, but:

I wouldnt mind further integration with the EU, because it is an only alternative that UK has. Pulling out of Europe would be an economical suicide. They also have an interesting plans for illegal immigrants, tighten control combined with amnesty (make them pay taxes). Because i doubt other parties can actually find them and deport them.

Also i would trust more Vince Cable as a chancellor than that failure of a chancellor Darling or Osbourne (who is a bit of a douche)

Ps. As for UKIP i think those guys are just loons without realistic policy, they offer withdrawal from the EU but nothing in exchange.

In what sense? Sweden and Switzerland, two of the richest/ best quality levels of living on the earth haven't commited "suicide." They have avoided the EU and the fruits of success are coming their way. The EU costs Britain 45 Million £ (Not Euros) per day! I still am trying to calculate where money of this magnitude comes in.

Also I would like to question your opinion on illegal immigrants in this country. Why is it that people who go in the back of lorries and avoid the law of this country should be allowed to remain here? There are thousands maybe millions of possible migrants who are refused access to this fine nation and yet they don't think they need to break the law and force an entry.

Sweden is in the EU, but Norway is not and Norway has a population of under 5 milion, and its an amazingly rich country in terms of natural resources, with their industry based on oil which makes them strong enough to compete with other nations.  Their agriculture can be subsidised by their government, they do not need extra investments from the EU budget (which all European countries claim). They are a completely different country to the UK and they simply can afford this form of isolation.

I would love to hear why do you think EU membership is bad for the UK?

I think illegall immigration is a big problem in the UK, and i do agree that this problem needs to be solved. But what needs to be done is create a way to prevent immigrants from coming in, once they in they disappear and become pretty much impossible to find and deport (13 years of Labour Party and they havent done anything) . That why i think Lib Dem ideas are pretty interesting they are pretty realistic , at least they deal with illegall in a way immigrants in some way.  (im not saying that i really support this one, but it is some form of solution)

disagree, I think that Uni should be free like all education, dont mind if it means some people pay more tax, its fair enough price for good education for the UK population.

heck, I wont even vote for a party that doesnt support scrapping tuition fees

and were off for the 2nd debate...
