These are the comments I would include to mean bes on consoles. The Destructoid one I wouldnt but Destructoid have said GOW3 wins as CGI showed me.

its better to look overall on whats being said about the product, best grafix is actually difficult to pin down, as it depends on what kind of grafix the user likes really.

for eg. me personally on an overall basis that ive played gow3 looks best, but another game may have better art or better lighting, atmosphere i would put into a grafix category also theres many diff variables.

so what your saying is, if review A says "hands down AW is the best grafix we have seen" and you will count it, and review B says " remedy have raised the bar this gen" and that wont be counted?

Raising the bar is saying best this gen. Read my previous post on your quotes. That is what I class as acceptable.

Just a wee typo in your OP you might want to correct: "Currebt Number of reviews claiming Alan Wake Best graphics"

I haven't seen a huge amount of Alan Wake (just that 10 minute opening gameplay vid), and I haven't seen a whole lot more of GoWIII. But what I have seen of both Alan Wake isn't as visually gobsmacking as GoWIII. But that may not necessarily be a technical thing as I'm not a graphics techno geek. It may have more to do with art style and scale. And sweeping visuals can hide a multitude of sins to the easily impressed *cough* Avatar. So while superficially I am a lot more wowed by GoWIII (the current console king most people seem to be willing to acknowledge) I'm more than willing to accept that Alan Wake could end up taking it out on a points decision. I find it hard to believe it will be a knock-out, but you never know.

Got to remember that unless the reviewer makes a direct comparison, or states how, it's nothing more then fanning the flames of hype.
Like I could say that Full Auto has the best graphics ever, but technically it doesn't.

I may be in the minority, but I thought Uncharted 2 looked much better than GoW3.

I don't know about minority starcraft, but i myself feel that both games are as strong as each other in what they are doing. Love them both. No need to say one or the other.

im sure some critics are going to say its a very visually impressive game , but selnor i think your going to have a very hard time to find even 2 separate sites not employed by microsoft to say

"best looking game this gen" or "most technically advanced game this gen"

another thing is these guys review games , most of them dont pay attention to the technical side of games, cant we all just accept it looks great which it does and not have to be the best at something.

every time i come on this site there seems to be another thread about reinforcing peoples beliefs about alan wakes graphics, i understand you want more people to agree with your views , the truth is a very small minority on this site and everywhere on the web think its the best looking console game but most of us dont agree cause we have seen other games accomplishing things that this game doesnt come close to doing

Maybe you should include best graphics on xbox 360 too, just so your number will read something other than O.... :P
