Many 60gb PS3 have been getting the YLOD lately. I have a MGS4 80gb ps3. So far i haven't been having any problems with it. However since it likely used the 90nm chipset it will likly also get the YLOD. How long do you think it ill last? Did your MGS4 PS3 die out yet? Should i just buy a slim PS3?

ive had 2 already die on me. the 2nd one died less then 30 days after sony sending me the replacement unit. 600+ 190 . F - YOU sony . Im done.

I think you got an hour! Buy the danm slim if you got money to waste cause we all know you want an excuse. Hell if I didn't buy unneeded purchases at a whim I wouldn't own a Wii today.

and to add , theres no way to get your data off the hard drive and no one tell me you can.... i spent an hour an a half argueing with the sony rep that i wanted my data back cus someone on here told me it was possible the first time mine broke. sony has lost a customer for life.
