Forums - Nintendo - Thinking of selling my Wii, I need to be taked out of it

Wow you have alot of games, more than enough to play and go back too before 2008. I would check out the Godfather and RE:UC/ Links Crossbow Training and Trauma Centre in the meantime. With all those games I would just Keep your wii.
Regarding Trauma Centre, reviews are generally good but the only concern is that it may be a bit hard, thats why I havent picked it up, but it apparently makes good use of the motio controls.

it would be a waste to sel then buy back---you know you got a great machine and you know you have a great lineup comming--just pick up something fun to play with on teh 360 and wait it out--you'll only regret it later if you do sell

*RE UMB--that game i had last week--it was a full five days and around 20 hours and i finaly beat it all the way thru on easy!--"s' on all but one mission--still have normal and hard to get thru--that game will keep you busy for a while it proably would have taken that long..i just kept playing levels over to get gun upgrades

My god, the WII doesn't have any legs to walk away, not any VC games you fancy to play in the meantime? Europe is always screwed when it comes to releases, no matter what platform. Even though there would be a drought, it would never come to my mind to sell any of my gaming platforms. I would kill myself as I regret selling it in the end. You've got the same amount of games as I have, only a different list and personally I haven't finished them all. Occupied enough for the time being.

If you love a console that much you simply won't sell it, its just stupid, unless its because you need the money, then that's an entirely different issue. Really keep it, or regret it for the rest of your life

OMG my avatar is Derek Stiles and I didn't suggest Trauma Center! If you like some challenge, it's a must, you'll remember me.

Also, if you need another reason to keep your Wii ATM, thing the half 2007 drought you've been through! Nowadays is nothing compared to back then where your only choice was Zelda! Get RE:UC and GHIII and you'll later be a happy man.

sorted,

thanks very much for the encouragement (seriously - I do get peeved when a game i've been wiating for is announced it's delayed and I fly off the handle and overreact). The plan is to look at

Trauma Centre
Godfather
GH3

Stof: as regarding Vc games, I currently have SM64, Starfox, Super Mario Bros, Galaga, Rtype and have the classic controlller so is there any more you'd recccomend?

Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...

"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony

Vc games you could get

Sin and Punishment, F Zero X, Super Mario World. Streets of Rage 2.

Ive got these and especially enjoyed Sin and Punishment and F zero X, and would reccomend them all.

If you like Rayman is the sequel out in Europe? My wife loves it.

Final* Word on Game Delays:

The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.

Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.

Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

*naznatips is exempt

I think RRR2 may be out, can you play 2 player split screen in FZero X?

One more game i've just thought of which definitly warrants a replay about now is OOT - definitly gonna get that one!!

Hmm not sure with F Zero X, havent tried multiplayer on it. OOT is a good choice. Bring back memories playing that... Christmas 98 lol. RRR2 is out here in Europe, it got released on friday.

I would definitely recommend Godfather on the wii. I'd say it's an average game, but the controls made it outstanding for me. One of the first and few wii games I've played where the motion controls were done well enough to make an average game into an excellent game.

... Maybe I just like the feeling of throwing people around ^^
