Maybe in Japan and possibly Europe, but no way would it come out that soon in America.

Except the fact that Nintendo announced it WILL be out by the end of March, and the difference of time between October and March isn't enough to change the DS's sales trend. You're arguing something that can only be argued when an official announcement of a general timeframe HASN'T been made.

3DS in Japan at Christmas is where its going to launch first. Than we'll see it reach the west in spring. Seems good.

Also Pokemon Black and White should be on DS BTW, It'll prevent the DS from falling like a rock.

Nintendo doesn't pull that kind of stuff with their major hardware releases. They haven't done anything like that at all in yeeeeeears.

I guess they'll keep on selling DS too for some more years, it still sells more than anything else almost always, it wouldn't make sense to kill it prematurely, unless they manage to price 3DS low enough to totally replace DS since its launch.
