Hey, they can have their opinions, but that doesn't stop me from thinking they are funny. 

As far as Nomura goes, he's only had a major part in 2 games.  Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2.  In Kingdom Hearts he had Sakaguchi's help so he doesn't really deserve much credit for that.  The thing is though the games are hardly critically acclaimed masterpieces.  Both games are an 87% on gamerankings, and although I certainly enjoyed them that hardly qualifies a man like that to even be mentioned in this discussion.  

I personally like Kingdom Hearts better than MGS, but that doesn't stop me from admitting that Nomura has no right to be on a list with Kojima.

Whoa whoa whoa; Nomura did NOT direct any (released) FF games. His only development (ie: non-artistic) work has been on the KH games.

Don't forget about Tomonobu Itagaki. He's not the best, but he's still good.

Okay, maybe it would be a better idea to kill off this topic and make an elimination game with 20 or so developers. First we would need a nomination topic, and then someone committed to running the elimination game (other than Soriku who has messed up the last few times he's tried).

Masahiro Sakurai - creator of the Kirby and Super Smash Bros. series, also one of the two main designers of Meteos.

I didn't know Sakurai worked on Meteos. Most interesting.
