People don't know whats being posted in a thread 12 pages long. Is it a new comment or is it new information. Unfortunately people read the thread title before venturing in as it gives them a good indication of whats in there.

Also entering a thread at around comment 360 can put you off. Is there anything else to add? has it been derailed? will you have to read the earlier comments to get up to speed?

It's a shame as the idea of having all the info in one place keeps the forums clean and stops people getting peeved off with 20+ threads on one game.

If it's any consolation I post in the official threads.

Not the best pics, but still looks fine. I see no reason to compare with Uncharted 2 or Heavy Rain, the first two are unique and awesome experiences and Alan Wake will probably be to.

So pointing out that bad screenshots are bad is not allowed any more? The screenshots are horrible, every tech demo and piece of footage I've seen of this is vastly better looking and its obvious that someone must have made a mistake in cropping these shots, we all know the game looks a helluva lot better than this.

PS: Has anyone here ever been to other parts of the forum? If what is going here is hijacking then consider every thread on Vgchartz hijacked. The shots in the OP are ghastly, having a PS3 tag under your name should not deter anyone from pointing that out, quit being so sensitive, its only the internet for god's sake.

those are some bad shots but as everyone knows the game is going to look awesome.

At least read the remedy's forum before claiming that those who are posting the "ugly" screenshots are trolls:
"We've published a lot of screenshots over the years (from various platforms). We do have a special game mode (like the Halo guys have etc) which can render shots in a "magazine covershot" resolution with a lot more AA detail than normally expected - that's kind of given, just like using camera angles and lenses (FOV) not seen during normal gameplay. But they always come out of the game engine and not from an offline renderer."

I will admit, especially after seeing the first 10 minutes of Alan Wake video, this is the first time that an Xbox360 game has made me wish that I had an Xbox360. This looks like an amazing game. I am still sour that a game that was first going to be PC only somehow ended out being an Xbox360 exclusive. Oh well.
This does look like a truly original game. Good job dev's.
