I think there are a quite a few people who are here for the community and not so much for the infoporn.

well i found this site because of the sales and then eventually moved to the forums

I think it fair to say that I enjoy the sales numbers but I'm here primarily to talk to people (I suck up a lot more of ioi's resources, I figure).

Same thing happened to me.

I used to come here mostly for sales numbers way back when I was more involved on other sites but slowly all those sites started sucking more and more as a community and now I spend most of my game browsing time here and only look at the weekly charts once in a while. The community on the forums here is pretty solid.

Well I'm sure there is a lot like you and those that originally came for that intention but no longer due. Me, however, I joined when there were no forums haha, and for awhile nothing well-established. I already had a forum I mainly talked on (which is almost dead) so really was no point for me. Took me a very long time to become a persistent forum poster here. And I use the data to do a lot of other things for studies into the market (personal use usually, but every now and then I post them here or other places).

Really I should be trying to post less on forums, because I don't like doing it all that much anymore, but I'm too much of an opinionated person haha.

i still checking out the numbers, for no real purpose but the forums i enjoy lurking about for amusement and info much more.
