360.

It has a lot of great games, a comfortable controller, and a better value/money ratio. Actually, I'll ditto everything Mike said above.

Right now, the PS3 is the feakin' Titanic of video game consoles; I can't even name 2 exclusive titles currently released on it that I care about and its future as a console is grim. The price needs to come down and the number of good exclusives needs to come up before that overgrown paper-weight of a console will even appear within a 1 mile radius of my To-Buy list. I do not really dislike it as a console, I just have no use/want for it at this time.

360, primarily for Live and the board game conversions (e.g. Settlers of Catan and Carcassonne).

I have a 360 as a second console, with games like Gears of War, GRAW, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Orange box, Forza 2, PG4 it's a no brainer really

Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...

"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony

Probably a fully equipped Dreamcast with all the great games I missed.

DS :)

A PS3 so I could play my PSX games on it, it has free online play, and I prefer Sony 1st party to M$ 1st party.

currently playing: Desktop Tower Defense (PC), Puzzle Quest (DS), Trauma Center New Blood (Wii), Guitar Hero III (Wii), Ghost Squad (Wii), Actraiser (SNES), Donkey Kong County (SNES), The Legend of Zelda (NES), Kirby's Adventure (NES)

will play next: Paper Mario (N64), Golden Axe II (Sega), NiGHTS (Wii)

i would buy a 360 - there are many interesting games on the 360.
anyway, i have not enough time to play all Wii games
so it will not happen soon.

I don't like 360 because it's poorly made. Shoddy craftsmanship pisses me the hell OFF!

I don't like PS3 because it's simply too expensive: system, games and all.

Coincidentally 360 has the same problem on top of its shoddy craftsmanship.

So by this logic PS3 would have the edge. But not by much.

I'd probably buy a Dreamcast first if I cared to buy another console.

More likely I'd end up buying a DS, a handheld.

People are strange here, the way I see it, if you get a PS3 you get to play PS3 + Wii + most of Xbox360 games (if you have a decent computer). Strange that most people want a Xbox360. Interesting.

You can't go wrong either way, I guess. The PS3 doesn't suck, but the 360 has some serious MUST PLAY titles available right now. I say go with the 360, but there really is no "wrong" answer.

360, but i'm content with my wii and pc for the time being
