i bought it for $5 yesterday and was wondering what to expect before i play it.

Wish I could tell you. I bought it over a year ago and I only made it to the title screen. Title screen looked good, though.

Also, wouldn't asking if a game is good or bad make sense BEFORE you buy it? Just go play the damned game and make your own impression. If it rocks, then that's great. If it sucks, well, it's your $5. Get your money's worth.

For your 5 dollars I would say it is worth it.

I would give the game a 6.5 to 7/10 though.

It's pretty good, if you've played F.E.A.R. then it's similar. The game allow's you to use melee combat in the game which means that if you saw a pipe on the ground, pick it up and go swinging. The combat is very fluid and work's extremely well (you get gun's later in the game). The Atmosphere is fantastic, it always keeps you on the edge and get's kinda creepy sometimes. The game also has investigative segments were you have to work out what happened use your detective gadgets. The environments can get repetitive, but it's not bad and the story's fairly decent.

Overall, you should be able to get $5 worth out of the game.

The combat is difficult to master at first. The graphics really do set up the atmosphere and are very good.

As long as you don't mind extreme violence and naughty words you should like it.

well it was only $5 so i was tempted to "rescue" the poor game from the bin it was in.  and i ask because; even less than good games can be enjoyable as long as you know what youre getting into before hand.  being surprised by trash can harm any sort of enjoyment from it.

Bought it new for $9.99 and thought it was pretty good even thought I don't like FPS that much.
