Forums - Gaming - HD vs Wii dumbness

Isn't it annoying, wrong, dumb and lame when people just can't compare a platform to other platform?

Why x HD game outsold x Wii game? Why HD hardware outsold Wii hardware?

What's next? PS3 combined with the Wii against the 360?: "Wand x game outsold camera x game"

Last gen why did people compare ps2 game sales to GC or Xbox? By the definition of some people in here if a game is pretty much identical and has minimal porting costs then its the same game. FUCKING HILARIOUS!

Seriously people, your Wii hate is the worst thing ever.

You snapped?

I admit it is impressing how much the Wii has sold worldwide and the motion control is innovative and spot on, but people diss is as most people who would be "Wii fanboys" are most likely so mature they have no clue as to how to use the internet.

I like Wii, but it's not the best in terms of games, it's fun but nothing as hardcore as the games on PS3 and 360.

The history is written by the Victors.

Lol, it's hilarious how you always find sth. to be pissed about. In the Sony/Gaming section you constantly seem angry to me, which is why I avoid talking to you, as anger is infective and I'm content with being relaxed.

@ stanislav

Thanks for your own opinion about your own gaming tastes and for the offtopic.

@ Lafiel

Anything else apart of offtopic too?

From my observation (and my observation goes back to begin 2007 as you can see from my sign up date) the "HD vs Wii" stuff on this site comes from both sides.

PS3 and 360 fans have a pretty similar taste in games, which is why they feel the need to underline that their way of gaming is more widespread than that of that of the general Wii user and use the higher "HD" console and software sales for their argumentation.

On the other hand Wii fans group together PS3 and 360 as well by calling them the "HD twins" to indicate how similar user group, taste, game archive and marketing strategy of these consoles are and to highlight, that the Wii brings much needed diversity to gaming.

It is pretty silly and I'd say that it has died down over the past year. I don't see it as being nearly as common as it used to be.

Tease.

I fail to see how this matters...you have your console, now go play it and stop complaining about how it is treated "unfairly".

Past Avatar picture!!!

Don't forget your helmet there, Master Chief!

If you fail, it's not my fault. Don't bother posting then.

While putting the consoles together to discuss marketshare demand for HD or SD gaming may be fair, or comparing graphics, doing that for sales its not fair.

That's the only thing I'm upset about. Putting sales of two different platforms together!

but still combining ps3/360 sales together even if they get to share 70% of there game library still doesn't make no fucking sence at all
