PS3 and 360 fans have a pretty similar taste in games, which is why they feel the need to underline that their way of gaming is more widespread than that of that of the general Wii user and use the higher "HD" console and software sales for their argumentation. On the other hand Wii fans group together PS3 and 360 as well by calling them the "HD twins" to indicate how similar user group, taste, game archive and marketing strategy of these consoles are and to highlight, that the Wii brings much needed diversity to gaming. |
While putting the consoles together to discuss marketshare demand for HD or SD gaming may be fair, or comparing graphics, doing that for sales its not fair.
That's the only thing I'm upset about. Putting sales of two different platforms together!
