It's based on a pretty acclaimed comic book. It's like Wanted, 300, or A History of Violence. There's more to comics than just Batman or Spider-Man. And the story telling is often times pretty good. I haven't read the actual "Kick Ass!" comic but I've read some work by the author and he's pretty damned good. The reviews are pretty good for the film, too. Don't be such an old school fool! Open your mind!
I've been dying to see Kick Ass, but I can't see it for another week or two. =(
Currently playing: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, NBA2k11, Metal Gear Solid, Picross 3d

Well, you'd have to watch the movie to see how they handle that. There are ways they take care of *most* of the suspention of disbelief...Not all of it, especially at the end, but for the most part its somewhat plausible.
For example:
Kick-Ass gets in his first fight with some criminals. He manages to lay one of his clubs on one of them, before getting stabbed in the chest with a knife. One he gets stabbed, he stumbles into the road, only to be hit by a car which means he got free medical care.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

The cinema was almost empty when I saw it. Nobody laughed at all. It was a fantastic action movie, but a horrible comedy, and just slightly disturbing. |
The cinema I saw it at was completely full, but it is a tiny cinema, and we were all laughing. I don't know why I found it so funny, but I did.
to everyone who said that you had to save money for iron man 2. you are officially poor.

That's fine. But since the title of the thread is "Go See Kick Ass" you have no choice. It's not about what YOU want at this point.
