Reviews for Modern Warfare Reflex were generally all over the place, as Metacritic will show you. Some praised it extensively, others condemned it.

And I thought it was a really good port, myself. Single-player was surprisingly solid, and this is coming from someone who generally doesn't like playing FPS's solo. I barely got to play multiplayer, though (due to my router throwing a fit every time I try to connect to Nintendo WFC).

It was scored average because it was late (really late) and missing features.. The game itself controlled really well but the level design wasn't made specifically for the Wii Pointer controls and the amount of commands weren't tailored to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk set up but to standard dual analog controllers. The game did have issues compared to the original and because people reviewers held the original in such high regard, the Wii version's reviews suffered because of it.
