Forums - Gaming - Prince Of Persia : The Forgotten Sands is different on all platforms.

Except PS3 and 360 are the same here is the trailers (so far its missing the DS Version)

HD Consoles

Sands of Time-like traditional gameplay.

Wii

Unique Coop gameplay with other player as a pixie.

PSP

Classic type 2D gameplay with magic and special moves.

DS

To be shown! , i am guessing it will use stylus to use magic like in Trine / Okami

i guess whichever system you own you will get a different experience big kudos to ubisoft!

Well it's a given the capabilities of the platforms
I jsut hope they go back to the roots....the last one left a bad taste in my mouth, didn't even bother to finish it

well i can say that they can do better on the graphical side of things, the PS2 games almost look better than all of these in graphic polish.

I'm hyped for the HD version, it looks very sweet, and I'm glad it's set between Sands of Time and Warrior Within, so I don't have to have played the trilogy (I only played SoT, I really couldn't get into WW).

I never played the original trilogy, which is a bummer since I probably won't understand the story of this, hopefully it'll have some sort of recap, since you on;y have to have played Sands of Time, right? since it's a sequel to it meaning the other two ahead of it aren't exactly relevant?

Sands of Time should be the only one you have to play. Although, you have to play Sands of Time anyway. Playing that game should be mandatory for everyone, it's amazing

Yeah agreed...the first trilogy hoinestly wowed me...gameplay AND gfx were good, the battle system was fun also..I sincerely hope this one will try to up the ante and not be just a cheap effort of releasing a game along side the movie (Ironman coems to mind :D)
