I was just wondering what gave it that monstrous 980k+ last year...

So DS good for its standard, unreachable for the others as usual.

Wii very good.

XB360 good.

PSP always baffling, good in Japan, meh elsewhere.

PS3 very good, if it keeps at least some of the current momentum in the next weeks we could think that GoWIII is just what it still missed to turn Americans from lukewarm to warm towards it.

1.1m - first month. 800k - first week.

1.1m = 2 weeks (US only)

800k = first week NA.

around 1m NA for the first 2 week which is still a little under NPD.

You also have to add 10% because NPD is USA only, so about 1,2 million for the first 2 weeks

we need official numbers from sony, tbh i dont think its selling so badly in "others" its quite a big franchise in many european countries

I thought the PS3 and the 360 would reach 35 and 40 million respectively on the same week (assuming 200k/week for the PS3 and 150k/week for the 360), but given Splinter Cell, I think the 360 may get to 40 million before the PS3 gets to 35 million.

The gap should be under 5 million by June though (first or second week).

Wii: 17m (100 million total)

360: 13m (63 million total)

PS3: 15m (61 million total)
