Amazon has a good PS3 stock.

I was at best buy last Monday and all the PS3s were out of stock. Even gamestop is doing accessory bundles for the PS3 like they did with the wii a couple of years ago.

why don't you go to your local best Buy and check for yourself......

Seriously, some of you guys should leave their basement once in a while and actually visit some stores..

So if I were to go to my local best Buy store now, and there are shortages of PS3, then Sony is going to fuck up April aswell..whatever I was merely questioning a claim, which everyone is entitle to.

Seriously, some of you guys should just relax once in a while and actually visit a pharmacy to get some chill pills.

yes. when i bought my PS3 i had togo out of town to buy it.. and i live in orlando.

But it's so scary outside my basement!

Seriously though, most stores that sell games tend to rip you off. I stopped going to Best Buy/Gamestop in favor of Amazon long ago. At least you can buy used at amazon, and they seem to always have some sort of deal or price drop going on, not to mention no lame taxes :)

I think an element of grasping at the shortages to explain no massive console shift on "System sellers" rather than any real mega shortage.

Sony certainly have not played the shortage card. Every time somebody mentioned the shortage I found systems on major online retailers. I think the pipe was thinned out but if you wanted one you could still get one.

I think the more likely scenario is that the people who wanted the games already had the console.

Sweet, I can get a PS3 with a rubber ducky or a squirt gun now!
