Forums - Microsoft - shaky cam Natal video

I'm curious as to how the gender detection would work with my two transgendered gamer friends.

That demonstration is nearly the same thing as this, which was done 5 years ago. :/

What an idiot, she gets to play with new motion sensing tech, what does she do?

Stands and moves really slowly with her arms out?!?!?!

I'd jump about and dance, what's the point in motion sensing if you're just gonna stand about like a blummin tree?

Like this?

Sadly there's noticeable lag. I think PS Move doesn't have any lag, it's 1:1.

i don't mine playing games that allow you to move around

                                       That's Gordon Freeman in "Real-Life"

Really hard to determine anything with 2 FPS video.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

It is 1:1 for two glowing balls.

What if you are a guy and have man boobs? If it detects me as a woman it's going through the wall...

The gender is detected by the face recognition, the leg just happens to the second person jumps in thoguether with the frst one. But it's still a project.

Ok, cool, done by facial recognition.  So that piece of Natal is ready then.  I believe that is the first confirmation of that.  Also, this quote is pretty good from that article.

"A tipster from the audience tells us that earlier lag issues have been eradicated".
