Forums - Sony - Without a doubt in my mind Kratos would annihilate Link.

It would be logical, but it's just not true. The Magic Cape is a cheaply powerful item that there's no way around until Link runs out of magic. Link cannot be touched, period, whil he's wearing it, even when he hits Kratos - and Kratos can't actually grab enemies while he's being hit, and hee can't counter a move he can't see coming, and even if he could it wouldn't matter becuse Link can't be hit.

THe Magic Cape has broken this fight.

If you want to come up with another scenario for the fight where Link doesn't have both Chateau Romani and the Magic Cape, that's fine, I'll argue there too, but the argument of Combined Link vs. Kratos was over as soon as it started.

how many times has Kratos gone to Hades just to climb back out again? Even if Link were to beat Kratos he'd just keep coming back

Yeah, but he would still lose this particular fight, even if he later came back for another one.

you all need to grow up...like wooooow lol

Krato's fanboys..its ok...the argument doesnt matter

link fanboys......grow up, stop making the word "fanboy" seem like nothing.

What if I'm a zelda fanboy arguing in favor of Kratos? I've played 6 or 7 Zelda games. And the only game I own for the Wii is Twilight Princess and the next game I plan on getting is the next Zelda. Its the only nintendo franchise I really like... I found myself bored with TP though so I might be getting bored of the franchise like I have with Mario. But I'm willing to give the next Zelda game a shot before I decide if I am or if it was just the game.

Didn't you say in the beginning of this thread that you've only played 3 of them?

true but to annihilate someone you don't have to win every fight with them.  Only need to do it once :D

Which Kratos probably would never accomplish... unless he can also fight his way out of death by natural causes.  In which, he'd still lose every fight, but eventually Link would die of old age.

Doesn't that mean Link wins the first time he blasts Kratos to smithereens?

And Link can undo it with nothing more than willing it to be so.

Congrats. You were so stubborn on a non-salient point and you've given so little ground that I actually pulled out the "All Links combined essentially have the power to reshape entire worlds and also people according to his whim" thing. That's it! He has the Triforce. There is no force in God of War that can stand up to that, period.

When do these time lines happen? If kratos is first then link never existed therefor he can never gather the power of the triforce on a dead rock called the earth.

......Hyrule and God of War don't happen in the same world.

Oh the irony...

"

Oh for the love of

Okay. Listen.

Link, at the end of Link to the Past, has the entire Triforce. With it he has the power to grant life and reshape the entire world according to his heart's desire. So it goes like this.

1. Link brings Kratos's family back to life.

2. Link causes Mount Olympus to crumble and all the gods to go away.

3. Link banishes the Great Evils from Pandora's Box, annihilating them altogether.

4. Link heals Kratos's shattered conscience, reuniting him with his family, freeing him from the evils of his own heart.

5. Link makes the world of God of War into a paradise.

6. Kratos is happy, and also a normal guy.

7. LINK STABS HIM IN THE HEAD

THere! There's your scenario! There is your scenario using Link's insane reality-rewriting powers!"

Double standard much? So links world effects Kratos but not vice versa. I see how it is... now I'm really done with I will not respond to you in this thread again. You sir are ridiculous.

Link's world doesn't effect Kratos' world.

Link's Triforce effects links world.  In the same way, a bolt of Zeus' lightneing would effect links world.

Poseiden was the god of Kratos' seas... and tied soley to those... etc.

The Tri-force is just pure unstoppable multi-dimensional distortion.  If you can't just logically see the difference between the two... there really is no hope for you.  It's a multiversal power.

and with all this great multidimensional distorting power you think he'd be able to keep the world in order

Link could win a fight but nothing can annihilate Kratos he won't stay dead

He did.  He used the multidimensional distorting power to return everything to the way it was before Ganon ruined everything.  Which in turn split the triforce back up.

He gave up ultimate power to set the world back to the way it was.

He did. Things didn't go bad again until after he was dead.
